Congratulations to our students on their outstanding academic achievements!

We are very pleased to highlight the recent achievements of several student members of the PCAN Lab!

🎓 Lyna El-Haffaf and Lucas Ronat have each been awarded a prestigious Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) scholarship to support their doctoral and postdoctoral research in neuroscience. This recognition reflects the excellence of their work and their strong commitment to advancing knowledge on Parkinson’s disease.

🌍 In addition, Lyna El-Haffaf recently traveled to Umeå University in Sweden for an international research internship. Funded by a MITACS Globalink award, she is joining the lab of Dr. Jarkko Johansson, a collaborator specializing in neuroimaging and Parkinson’s disease, to deepen her expertise and strengthen PCAN Lab’s international collaborations.

Congratulations on these remarkable achievements! 👏
We are proud to have you on our team.
